GILLETTE, Wyo. — Teams from multiple states will gather in Gillette this holiday weekend for the Battle of the High Plains softball tournament. Thirty-four teams from Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska and Montana will take over Energy Capital Sports Complex for three days of games.
Hosted by the Gillette Girls Fastpitch Association and the Gillette Blue Jays, the tournament will field four age groups for a three-pool double elimination tournament. Saturday will also feature a Memorial Day Ceremony at 10 a.m.
The tournament also serves as a qualifier for the Cowboy State Games for the 10U and 12U age groups.
Game results can be followed online here, and a full schedule of games Saturday through Monday is available below. All games will take place at Energy Capital Sports Complex or Bicentennial Park.
