Wyoming Walks event moved indoors due to weather

Campbell County Public Library front entrance

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Thursday’s Wyoming Walks event has been moved indoors due to anticipated rain on Thursday, event coordinator Sara Olsen said on Tuesday.

The event, the Wyoming Walks Reading Walk, is in partnership with the Campbell County Library as it kicks off its summer reading program. In place of walking outdoors, the event will take place in the Story Pit at the Gillette library location.

To replace the walk, the event will incorporate physical movement such as jumping jacks and running in place in between reading sections of “The Story in a Jar” by Deborah Marcero aloud.

The event will start at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 23 and is free to attend. See the attached flyer for more information.
