June events announced for Campbell County Library

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Library has announced the schedule of events for June at both the Gillette and Wright library locations.

In addition to regularly scheduled events like Teen Anime Club and Preschool Storytime, the library is hosting several new events for the month of June. To kick things off for the month, the Gillette library, located at 2101 S. 4-J Road, will be hosting a fire starting workshop with Boy Scout Troop 6064.

An event for all ages, fire making skill demonstrations will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4 in Pioneer Rooms I and II. No registration is required to attend.

On June 8, the Gillette location will be hosting two adult-only gardening classes to create Fairy Gardens in a container brought from home. The class slots are for 10–11:30 a.m. or noon–1:30 p.m. Registration for this event is required; click here for more information.

The Wright Library is also hosting several fun events in June, including a visit from the LEGO Guy Curtis Morris on Wednesday, June 5 and Magician Byron Grey on Wednesday, June 12.

In addition to events, both libraries will be facilitating their summer reading program all summer long, with reading logs available for pickup at both locations. For a full list of events, see their calendar.
