GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County Health volunteers donated nearly 300 days’ worth of hours in 2023, the healthcare organization announced Friday.
Last year, local healthcare volunteers at CCH logged 7,000 hours, the equivalent of 291 days, the healthcare organization said in an April 26 press release, expressing gratitude for all those who dedicated their time and energy to CCH and its patients.
“For many, volunteering is a way to forge new relationships, extend compassion to those in need, and find fulfillment in the simple act of giving back,” CCH says. “It’s about building resilient communities and discovering joy in helping others and making our community a better place.”
In recognition of National Volunteer Week, which began April 21, CCH’s volunteers came together to celebrate a year of accomplishments and contributions at their annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, per the release.
“As we embark on another year of service, CCH extends heartfelt gratitude to all those who generously donate their time to care for others and enrich our community,” the release states. “Join us in celebrating their dedication and the invaluable difference they make in embodying Excellence Every Day.”
Anyone interested in volunteering at CCH can get involved by visiting the healthcare organization’s website or by reaching out to Volunteer Services Coordinator Chris Bruxton at 307-688-1536, per the release.
