After receiving an anonymous report that a 19-year-old man, identified as Devin Solomon, had pointed a gun at multiple people at a party at a residence on the 4500 block of Running W Drive, officers arrested him at another residence on the same block. According to Police Deputy Chief Brent Wasson, the arrest was aided by an additional tip that Solomon was staying in a different apartment within the same residential complex on Running W Drive. Solomon was charged with kidnapping, simple assault, two counts of felonious restraint and three counts of aggravated assault.

Domestic Violence, April 19, 2200 block of South Emerson Avenue, GPD

A 22-year-old woman reported that a 28-year-old woman unlawfully entered the residence of her apartment where she lives with her boyfriend, a 24-year-old man, attempting to assault the pair as well as a friend, a 26-year-old man, who was in the residence at the time.

The female who entered the home was formerly in a relationship with the 24-year-old, according to Police Deputy Chief Brent Wasson, and the two also have a child together. After finding out his home address, the 28-year-old gained entry to the apartment complex through a door that was normally kept locked.
