GILLETTE, Wyo.— After what feels like an eternity, warm seasonal weather will stick around in Gillette and broader Campbell County through the weekend and into next week.
Temperatures remain comfortable into the work week, with highs of 75 and full sun on tap for both Saturday and Sunday, with a slight drop down to 68 and overcast skies Monday.
Later in the week, however, temps cool down again with windy conditions starting Tuesday. Temperatures will continue to slide during the week, from Tuesday’s high of 57 down to 39 on Friday.
Campbell County will also be under a hazardous weather outlook for a chance of thunderstorm activity through next Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Rapid City, South Dakota. Chances are slim for storms to develop through this weekend, and severe storms are not expected to develop.
