GILLETTE, Wyo. — One person died March 30 in a single-vehicle crash in Campbell County.
The driver, 35-year-old Elvie Thomas, was headed east on Interstate 90 near Gillette in a pickup truck when they drifted into a median before sharply turning right. According to reports from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Thomas crossed lanes of oncoming traffic before exiting the road altogether.
Thomas’s truck tripped and rolled multiple times before finally coming to rest.
