GILLETTE, Wyo. — Summer is just around the corner, and registration for summer 4-H Camp is fast approaching.
Forms become available for 4-H Camp registration on Monday, April 1, according to Campbell County 4-H’s March newsletter. Counselor applications will be due on May 17. Regular camp registration is due June 1.
Campers participate in a wide variety of outdoorsy activities at camp, including archery, canoeing and hiking. Counselors have hands-on experience in leadership, and attend camp additional days for training.
4-H Camp will take place from Monday, June 17 to Thursday, June 20 at Camp Mallo in Wyoming’s Black Hills. Although registration is not yet open, the necessary forms can be found on the Campbell County 4-H website. Registration for Summer Day Camp with 4-H opened earlier this month, and some spaces are still available. Register in person at the Campbell County Extension office.
