Campbell County Fire Dept. Report (3/19/24)

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Tuesday, March 19:

  • At 7:18 a.m. to Mitchell Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 8:39 a.m. to mile marker 135 East Interstate 90 for a two-vehicle collision.
  • At 10:27 a.m. to Recluse Hills Road for a manure pile on fire.
  • At 10:35 a.m. to Highway 51 for an emergency medical response.
  • At 11:47 a.m. to South Douglas Highway for an emergency medical response.
  • At 11:55 a.m. to Santee Drive for an emergency medical response.
  • At 1:05 p.m. to Chad Road for a gas smell in the house.
  • At 1:23 p.m. to Fitzpatrick Drive for an emergency medical response.
  • At 3:09 p.m. to West Valley Drive for an emergency medical response.
  • At 3:56 p.m. Highway 387 near milepost 116 for a grass fire. A Johnson County unit was on scene and the fire was out when CCFD arrived.
  • At 4:30 p.m. to Gap Road for a report of a grass fire. The fire was contained to 51 acres.
  • At 4:33 p.m. to Dogwood Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 4:44 p.m. to Highway 387 near milepost 135 for a grass fire. The fire was contained at 3.5 acres.
  • At 6:38 p.m. to Tassel Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 6:44 p.m. to Mountain Meadow Lane for an emergency medical response.
  • At 7:48 p.m. to Vivian Street for an emergency medical response.
  • At 8:22 p.m. to Sioux Avenue for an activated fire alarm.
  • At 8:52 p.m. to Vivian Street for an emergency medical response.
  • At 9:04 p.m. to Carey Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 11:36 p.m. to Cow Creek Road for a one-vehicle rollover.

Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 704 requests for service.
