GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Wednesday, Feb. 28:
- At 12:51 p.m. to West 4th Avenue for a citizen’s assist.
- At 12:54 p.m. to Running W Drive for an emergency medical response.
- At 1:30 p.m. to Running W Drive for an emergency medical response.
- At 1:44 p.m. to Expedition Drive for a vehicle fire. A commercial vehicle was partially involved in fire and wind spread the fire to a nearby pickup. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from extending to another commercial vehicle and a structure, both of which sustained heat damage. The fire was contained at 2:16 p.m. The fire is currently under investigation.
- At 3:30 p.m. to Cedar Hills Drive for an emergency medical response.
- At 3:31 p.m. to the 14800 block of Highway 387 for an automatic fire alarm.
- At 10:14 p.m. to Indian Hills Drive for an emergency medical response.
Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 536 requests for service.
