Gov. Gordon submits nominees to State Senate

GILLETTE, Wyo. — In a letter submitted to the State Senate on Tuesday, Gov. Gordon asked for approval in the State Senate nomination of candidates to various state boards and commissions.

Included in the list were several nominees from Campbell County for boards pertaining to the energy industry and mining.

Wendy Hutchinson was nominated for reappointment to the Energy Authority, along with two new appointments: Robert Tilden to the Geological Survey Board and Nathan Gillespie to the Mining Council. Gillespie is a management-level mining employee, according to the document.

The document notes that Tilden’s and Gillespie’s appointments are to complete unexpired terms.
