GILLETTE, Wyo. — Auditions are occurring next week for the latest project from Gillette Community Theatre, “Arsenic and Old Lace.” The play, written by Joseph Kesserling, is a comedy that centers on the murderous antics of the Brewster family in 1940s Brooklyn.
Gillette Community Theatre will be casting for 13 roles, ranging in age from 20 to over 50. In their Facebook post announcement, the theatre notes that actors may be cast in multiple parts, and the age and gender of actors for certain roles are flexible based on the director’s judgement.
Auditions begin on Monday, Feb. 26 at the Campbell County Library and will be held on Tuesday at the same location. Auditions start at 7 p.m. both nights. Following auditions, rehearsals will start on Thursday, March 7.
