GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded early Saturday morning to a fire at the Wyoming Welding building at 6211 Mohan Road.
The building had flames coming through the roof. Thirteen Firefighters and three chiefs from multiple stations were quick to respond to the emergency. There were no occupants in the building at the time.
Fire crews had to remove the hay on site with heavy equipment. The damage is estimated to be around $120,000. The origin and cause of the fire is still undetermined and is currently under investigation by the Campbell County Fire Department, though it is believed to be accidental. Electrical issues are being considered as a potential cause.
