GILLETTE, Wyo. — After brief questioning of Circuit Court Judge Wendy Bartlett, the Campbell County Board of Commissioners approved the nomination of three new part-time magistrates for the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial District.
Part-time magistrates are used by the courts to fill in for judges when they are unable to oversee a court case themselves due to illness or another conflict, according to Bartlett.
Bartlett nominated Ronald Wirthwein, Christina Portath and Joshua Taylor for the positions. Click here to view the video from the Feb. 6 meeting.
