GILLETTE, Wyo. — Registration is open for the 14th Annual Climbing Competition, according to Campbell County Parks and Recreation.

The competition will take place at the Campbell County Recreation Center on Feb. 10 beginning at 10 a.m., with registration open online until Feb. 9 or in person until 9:45 a.m. the day of the event, per Parks and Recreation, which says registration costs $25 and includes a T-shirt, food and drinks.

This year, competitors can choose from one of five divisions: beginner, intermediate, advanced, senior and open. Routes will be set for beginner to advanced climbers and competitors will try to accumulate the highest point total they can based on difficulty and number of falls, Parks and Recreation says.

Set-up for the competition will close the recreation center climbing wall to the public from Feb. 2 through Feb. 10, per Parks and Recreation.
