Campbell County Fire Dept. Report (1/28/24)

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Sunday, Jan. 28:

  • At 2:43 a.m. to Wigwam Boulevard for an emergency medical response.
  • At 5:35 a.m. to Lilloct Lane for an emergency medical response.
  • At 7:42 a.m. to the 1000 block of South Douglas Highway for an activated fire alarm.
  • At 12:10 p.m. to the intersection of Bison Avenue and Highway 387 for a damaged electrical meter and a natural gas leak from a damaged gas meter from a vehicle collision. Firefighters stopped the flow of gas, monitored the area and were assisted on scene by Campbell County Sherriff’s Office Deputies, Black Hills Energy, Powder River Energy Corporation and the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
  • At 7:47 p.m. to Wolff Road for an emergency medical response.

Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 265 requests for service.
