CASPER, Wyo. — Wyoming’s only Eddie Bauer outdoor clothing store is permanently closing.

According to the Jackson Hole News & Guide, the store located near the Town Square will close this coming Monday. Items inside are currently listed for clearance at 60% off.

The building that Eddie Bauer has used as its Jackson location since 1996 has been sold, according to the newspaper, adding that requests to Eddie Bauer’s corporate office for comment were not returned.

The store is Wyoming’s only outlet for Eddie Bauer, which traces its roots to its eponymous sportsman when he opened up his first store in Seattle more than 100 years ago. According to its website, the company went on to make numerous innovations for outdoor clothing, including the country’s first patented down jacket and designs for warm clothing for U.S. Air Forces pilots during WWII.
