CASPER, Wyo. — One person died in a single-vehicle wreck on Dec. 2 while driving through Natrona County.
At roughly 7:25 a.m., 85-year-old Wyoming man James Sturm drove off the road on the right, striking a delineator post. Once hitting the post, he over-corrected to the left before then over-correcting back to the right, running off the road and into the ditch.
Sturm then over-corrected back to the left, going into a skid before ultimately rolling.
According to reports from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, driver inattention, fatigue or being asleep and a possible medical condition are all listed as potential contributing factors in the incident.
