Robert Dale Hays: 1959 – 2023
With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Robert Dale Hays, aged 64, who peacefully left this world on November 27, 2023 in Moorcroft, Wyoming, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on January 27, 1959, in Bismarck, North Dakota, Robert was welcomed into the world by his parents, Donna Jean (Laramore) Schmidt and Dale Joseph Schmidt.
After Dale’s death, Donna married Robert Henry Hays, who adopted Robert and provided him with a nurturing and supportive upbringing. Throughout his childhood, Robert resided in Pine Haven, Wyoming, and later moved to Moorcroft before eventually settling in Casper.
Robert had an insatiable curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. He found great joy in building computers, watching educational videos on YouTube, and indulging in his favorite video games such as Minecraft, Atari, and Nintendo 64. He was also passionate about 3D printing, harnessing his creativity to bring his imagination to life.
A man of many talents, Robert utilized his skills as an accomplished organist, lending his musical talents to the Catholic Church in Moorcroft. His heartfelt melodies touched the souls of all who listened and brought solace to those in need.
Robert leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, including his wife, Darla Hays; his sons, Dale Hays and Derek Collins; his grandchildren: Dlynn, Logan, Kalynn, Colter, Emilio, Nayomi, Serenity, and the eagerly awaited arrival of another precious grandchild.
His memory will also be cherished by his great-granddaughter, Wrenleigh Collins. In addition, Robert is survived by his siblings: Patricia, Mary, Christine, Ronald, Gregory, and Wendy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his grandson, Kristopher Hays; siblings, Joseph and James; his parents, Robert and Donna, and Dale Schmidt, whose memories will forever live within our hearts.
Having found deep fulfillment in both his personal and professional life, Robert’s occupation as a directional driller brought him immense pride and satisfaction. Working in the energy industry, he spent his days planning and facilitating the drilling process with expertise and precision.
To honor and celebrate Robert’s remarkable life, a funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church of Gillette, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s name and sent to Gillette Memorial Chapel, 210 W. 5th St, Gillette, WY, 82716. Parker Alan Teske: 1979 – 2023
Parker Alan Teske was born on April 7, 1979. He was 44 years old. It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Parker on November 27, 2023, of diabetic complications.
Parker brought warmth, joy, and an unforgettable spirit to the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He enjoyed a successful career in sales and served in the Montana Army National Guard.
Parker had an uncanny ability to steal the room with his mere presence, a magnetic force that drew people in and left an indelible mark on their hearts. His infectious laughter and vibrant energy lit up every gathering, making sure that everyone around him was having a great time. Parker had a unique talent for turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, and his zest for life was truly unparalleled.
One of Parker’s most remarkable qualities was his ability to connect with anyone he met. He possessed a genuine, open-hearted nature that allowed him to effortlessly make friends with people from all walks of life. His kindness and authenticity left a lasting impression, creating bonds that transcended time and circumstance.
Parker wore his emotions on his sleeve, expressing joy, compassion, and empathy in a way that touched the lives of those around him. He faced life with a resilient spirit, inspiring others to embrace their true selves and find beauty in every moment.
Parker was a son, brother, father, and friend. He will be leaving behind his mother, Judy Rambin; sister, Stephanie (Larry) Casteel; brother, Stephan (Ashley) Teske; sister, Jamie (Tom) Allee; sister, Kindra (Jorge) Santander; father, Alan Teske; stepfather, Ron Roth; nephew, Austyn (Ashley) Pankratz; his children: Madison, Morgan, Jacob, Preston; his fur cat, Ashes whom he lovingly called Meow Meow; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; as well as friends who became his family.
Parker is preceded in death by grandparents: Frank and Wanda Rambin, Leona and Kermit Teske, Robert Roth; step-mother, Esther Teske; aunt, Vicki Teske and aunt, Janice Roth; uncle, Jed Rambin; and the love of his life, Cassidy (Cass) Carter.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be a Celebration of Life in the spring, which will be announced as soon as a date is determined.
