CASPER, Wyo. — Three suspects have been arrested after attempting to elude Wyoming Highway Patrol troopers on Thanksgiving.
The WHP was alerted Thursday evening to a stolen vehicle from Colorado being in the area of Laramie heading west on Interstate 80. Despite road conditions, reports to law enforcement indicated the car was traveling at near triple-digit speed, the WHP reported.
Troopers tried to stop the vehicle, but it attempted to flee, heading southwest of Wamsutter on dirt roads and going through fences. When the vehicle was no longer usable, the three occupants got out and ran, the WHP reported.
“Not sure where they planned to go in this weather,” the WHP’s report stated.
All three suspects were found and taken into custody. Numerous charges are pending.
More information about the incident and charges will be reported as it becomes available.
