UW, University of Utah to hold virtual town hall on critical minerals

The University of Wyoming and the University of Utah will host a virtual town hall regarding critical minerals research from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 1.

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming and the University of Utah will host a virtual town hall regarding critical minerals research from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 1.

The goal of the virtual town hall is to build connections and explore research opportunities, UW School of Energy Resources Director of Outreach Christine Reed said. The event will include lightning talks and breakout rooms on themes like policy, workforce development, value chain and mining.

Anyone is welcome to attend the event as long as they register, Reed said.
