GILLETTE, Wyo. — Other bar patrons struck back when a man punched a bartender Nov. 11 in Gillette, a police official said this morning.
Gillette Police Capt. Jason Marcus said officers responded at 9:25 p.m. Nov. 11 to Good Times Liquor and Lounge following the report of a bar fight. They found that a 31-year-old man who was intoxicated and unsteady on his feet had been assaulted by several bar patrons after he had punched a bartender, a 34-year-old man, in the chest.
The bartender had no injuries, and the 31-year-old man had a laceration on the back of the head, Marcus said. Neither wanted to pursue charges. The 31-year-old man was trespassed from the bar.
Police learned the man had alcohol restrictions, as he was on unsupervised probation, according to Marcus. A report will be sent to the county attorney’s office.
