GILLETTE, Wyo. — A toddler and two adults had to be extracted from vehicles and taken to the hospital after a collision Nov. 11 at an intersection in Gillette, a police official said this morning.
At about 7:28 a.m. Nov. 11, a blue Subaru that was driven by a 35-year-old man collided with a black GMC that was driven by a 34-year-old man at the intersection of Burma Avenue and Warlow Drive, Gillette Police Capt. Jason Marcus said. The 35-year-old man failed to clear that intersection before moving from the flashing red traffic signal; the 34-year-old had the right of way.
EMS and firefighters responded and had to extract the drivers of both vehicles and a 2-year-old boy who was in the GMC, Marcus said. The report did not say what the injuries were. The damage to each vehicle was more than $1,000, and the vehicles had to be towed.
The 35-year-old was cited for having no driver’s license, having no insurance and a red light violation.
