GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County School District board’s next meeting is Nov. 14.

The board’s dinner meeting, at 5 p.m., will take place in the Rocky Point Room at the Educational Services Center, 1000 W. 8th St., Gillette. Discussions, which are open to the public, tend to begin at 5:30 p.m. The board will discuss potential changes to Policy 8115 Duties of the Board and an update on health savings accounts. This is a continuation of conversations held earlier this fall.

The regular meeting in the board room begins at 6 p.m.

Human Resources Director Larry Reznicek will ask the board to approve a contribution increase for health savings accounts. Lindy Watt, the principal of Meadowlark and Little Powder elementary schools, will provide academic reports on each school.

The board will be asked to approve the following Human Resources actions, which include the Nov. 2 termination of bus driver Charessa Joseph.

At the last meeting, Nutrition Services Director Bryan Young told the board about how the school district’s meal prices compare to other districts, what the costs are to produce meals, what the impacts of raising prices for student meals may be, nutrition funding sources and operating loss, draft meeting minutes said. He will attend a future meeting to bring a recommendation to the board.

Anyone can review meeting minutes during regular office hours at the office of the clerk of CCSD, at 1000 W. 8th St., Gillette, or on the district website.
