GILLETTE, Wyo. — Locals can support a Gillette 4-H club today by placing an order at either Gillette Pizza Hut, High Hopes club leader Suzanne Clifford said.

Those who order online at pizzahut.com or via the Pizza Hut app can enter the code “HUTGIVES” in the coupon field, Pizza Hut’s flier for 4-H Group High Hopes said. A penny discount will indicate the ticket is accounted for. People who go into the store to order food can show the printed or digital flier to a restaurant team member. For the restaurant to make a 20% contribution, customers have to order a meal of at least $15.

Clifford said the club uses donations for its community service projects and group activities. Past projects include making care packages for the military and cookies for emergency medical technicians. Funds raised will pay for supplies, like postage or card-making materials, for upcoming service projects, which they have not yet selected for this year. The club has also used funds to buy T-shirts and have Christmas parties and end-of-the-year cookouts.

The Pizza Hut locations in Gillette are at 627 E. Boxelder Road and 1711 W. 2nd St.
