GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Tuesday, Sept. 26:
- At 1:05 a.m. to Running W Drive to assist another agency.
- At 8:24 a.m. to the 900 block of West 8th Street for an automatic fire alarm activation.
- At 9:26 a.m. to Fairview Road for a motor vehicle collision.
- At 10:40 a.m. to Rocky Point Drive for an emergency medical response.
- At 12:13 p.m. to East 9th Street for an emergency medical response.
- At 12:28 p.m. to North Highway 14-16 for a single-vehicle collision.
- At 12:50 p.m. to the 2000 block of Airport Road for an activated fire alarm.
- At 2:01 p.m. to Bomber Mountain Road for an emergency medical response.
- At 2:33 p.m. to the 12400 block of North Highway 59, Dry Fork Station for a report of a hazardous materials release inside a warehouse. The Campbell County Fire Department Hazardous Materials Team activated a State of Wyoming Homeland Security Region 1 response to this incident. Fire department personnel worked with employees from Dry Fork Station to mitigate the release. The scene was turned back over at 12:43 a.m. Sept. 27, 2023. The fire department will not release any additional information on this response.
- At 3:20 p.m. to Ichabod Avenue for an emergency medical response.
- At 5:20 p.m. to Desert Hill Circle for an emergency medical response.
- At 6:13 p.m. to Skyline Drive for a motor vehicle accident.
- At 7 p.m. to the 100 block of East Walnut Street for an activated fire alarm.
- At 10:45 p.m. to the area of South Highway 59 and South Garner Lake Road for the report of a grass fire. The fire was contained to less than 1 acre. The cause of the fire was a power line in the area.
Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 2,153 requests for service.
