GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County Ice Arena is back up and running, Parks and Recreation Parks Superintendent Kevin Geer said this evening.

Campbell County Parks and Recreation had said in a Sept. 14 Facebook post that the arena, which is at 121 4-J Road in Gillette, closed temporarily because of a mechanical issue. All events had to be canceled through Sept. 17.

Residents can contact Ice Arena Supervisor Fred Neugebauer if they would like to schedule an event at the facility, Geer said. To reach Neugebauer, call the Spirit Hall Ice Arena at 307-687-1555. Leave a message if it is past normal operating hours, which are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Campbell County Parks and Recreation said that Spirit Hall is not yet open for the ice hockey and skating season.
