GILLETTE, Wyo. — Local residents will likely be able to enjoy some good weather as their week gets underway, as the National Weather Service in Rapid City, South Dakota, is predicting warm temperatures and clear skies.
Today will be sunny with a high near 83 degrees, the NWS in Rapid City reports. Moderate winds moving in from the south at 6–9 mph are expected to shift to the north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
Tonight, temperatures will drop to a low around 48 degrees, while skies should remain mostly clear.
Monday and Tuesday will each see more sunny skies, though Monday is expected to be considerably warmer. The NWS in Rapid City reports Monday’s expected high as being roughly 85 degrees, while Tuesday’s is 10 degrees cooler, only reaching 75.
