GILLETTE, Wyo. — Though recent days have felt decidedly summer-like locally, western parts of Wyoming may see snow in the coming days.
According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, higher elevations of the Wind River and Absaroka Mountains have a good chance of seeing accumulations of snow this week. The NWS in Riverton reports that snow is possible as early as Tuesday evening and could continue into Friday.
Additionally, a hard freeze is likely for valleys west of the continental divide on Friday and Saturday.
