Campbell County Fire Dept. Report (9/16/23)

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Sept. 16:

  • At 7:47 a.m. to Tonk Court for an emergency medical response.
  • At 9:57 a.m. to mile marker 31 on Highway 50 for a single-vehicle accident.
  • At 11:55 a.m. to Highway 50 for an emergency medical response.
  • At 12:40 p.m. to the intersection of South Douglas Highway and 12th Street for a two-vehicle collision.
  • At 4:55 p.m. to Echeta Road for a structure fire. Firefighters located a fire in an appliance inside a fifth-wheel camper. The fire was contained to the cooking appliance. The resident was able to reoccupy the home after the fire was extinguished.
  • At 5:29 p.m. to Desert Hills Circle for an emergency medical response.
  • At 5:34 p.m. to North Gurley Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 5:58 p.m. to Clarion Drive for a smoker grill on fire.
  • At 7:04 p.m. to Running W Drive for an emergency medical response.
  • At 7:31 p.m. to Duffy Road for a report of a fire. Firefighters located an unauthorized controlled burn pit.
  • At 7:36 p.m. to 2901 Goldenrod Ave. for a smoldering trash can. It was witnessed to have been ignited by children playing in the area.
  • At 10:07 p.m. to mile marker 113 on Interstate 90 for a vehicle rollover.
