GILLETTE, Wyo. — In just a few hours, the City of Gillette will be hosting its City Festival & Puzzle Unveiling where residents can come enjoy an evening of family-friendly activities at Gillette College for free.
The festival starts at 4 p.m. with a show by Wyoming Magician Byron Grey starting at 4:30, per the city, which says food vendors, bounce houses and face painting will be available throughout the night.
Additionally, vehicles from the Gillette Police Department and Campbell County Fire Department will be available for the Touch-A-Truck portion and the City of Gillette Animal Shelter will be on site for Adopt-A-Pet, according to a Sept. 15 release.
At 5:30 p.m., a puzzle painted by world-renowned Folk Artist Eric Dowdle commissioned by the city will be revealed and additional puzzles will be available for purchase, the city says.
Puzzles cost $26.25 each and only debit or credit cards will be accepted at the festival. Beginning Sept. 18, puzzles can be purchased at City Hall with a card or cash, per the city.
