Campbell County Fire Dept. Report (9/8/23)

Campbell County firefighters responded to multiple emergency medical calls, vehicle collisions, and grass fires on Sept. 8.

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Friday, Sept. 8:

  • At 7:28 a.m. to Bell Road for an emergency medical response.
  • At 12:26 p.m. to West Lakeway Road for an emergency medical response.
  • At 1:47 p.m. to Cocklebur Drive for an emergency medical response.
  • At 1:51 p.m. to Butler Spaeth Road for an emergency medical response.
  • At 3:21 p.m. to 2nd Street and Echeta Road for a three-vehicle head-on collision.
  • At 3:55 p.m. to 135 on Highway 51 for a grass fire. The fire was contained to a small area along the ditch.
  • At 4:13 p.m. to 24 N. Pineview Drive for an unauthorized burning. The fire was out when firefighters arrived. The occupant was advised of the burning restrictions.
  • At 7:57 p.m. to Arlington Court for an emergency medical response.
  • At 8:46 p.m. to Boxelder Road for a two-vehicle collision.

Year to date, the CCFD has responded to 1,978 requests for service.
