1 dead following Labor Day crash in Natrona County

GILLETTE, Wyo. — A Wyoming man is dead after being hit by a vehicle on Labor Day, Sept. 4, in Natrona County.

The incident occurred around 9:49 p.m. near Casper on Wyoming Boulevard and WY258/Denis Drive at milepost 10.11, according to a Casper Police Department incident report.

A Chevrolet Equinox was traveling west on WY 258, approaching the intersection with Denis Drive. A pedestrian walked into the street and was struck by the vehicle.

Charles Landrum, 59, is identified in the report as the pedestrian and deceased. Road and weather conditions are listed as being wet and rainy at the time of the crash.
