GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Tuesday, Sept. 5:
- At 6:13 a.m. to West 6th Street for an emergency medical response.
- At 7:46 a.m. to Santee Drive for an odor investigation.
- At 12:34 p.m. to Granite Street for an emergency medical response.
- At 1:13 p.m. to the 1900 block of South Douglas Highway for a report of a structure fire. Firefighters found a rooftop HVAC unit had malfunctioned and emitted smoke into the structure. There were no injuries to occupants. Nine firefighters and two chiefs responded to the incident.
- At 2:13 p.m. to the 7100 block of South Highway 59 for a report of an unauthorized controlled burn.
- At 5:30 p.m. to the 500 block of South Gillette Avenue for an activated fire alarm.
Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 1,949 requests for service.
