CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County Sheriff’s Office recently made a tongue-in-cheek offer to drug dealers and offenders in a Facebook post, saying the department would gladly test the quality of their drugs.
“Illicit Drug Dealers: LCSO will test the quality of the drugs you purchased for free. … If you are worried the cartel cut your meth with fentanyl, we can help — just call,” the post reads.
The post, which at time of publication had nearly 300 reactions, says its drug testing capabilities are thanks to spectrometers that the office received through a grant. In the post’s comments, the office clarifies that it does in fact have spectrometers through a grant with Pendar Technologies.
