GILLETTE, Wyo. — According to the National Weather Service in Rapid City, South Dakota, the Gillette area may see rainfall throughout the day on Sunday.
A 20% chance of showers in the morning will grow to a 30% chance of rain and thunderstorms, mainly between 1 and 4 p.m.
Temperatures are expected to reach a high of roughly 79 degrees. Winds moving in from the north throughout the day could gust as strong as 16 mph, the NWS in Rapid City reports.
The rain is expected to subside at night, though the skies will likely remain cloudy. The temperature will fall to a low of approximately 56 after sundown, and winds will fall to 5–8 mph.
