GILLETTE, Wyo. — Gillette-area residents will be able to enjoy warm and sunny conditions today, though the National Weather Service in Rapid City, South Dakota, predicts that Sunday could see rainfall.
Today will likely be sunny and windy, as the NWS in Rapid City reports a high near 85 degrees and wind gusts as high as 29 mph possible throughout the day.
Sunday will see clouds start to roll in during the morning hours, leading to a 20% chance of scattered rainfall after noon. It will again be a warm day, with a high near 81 degrees. Meanwhile, winds could gust as high as 20 mph, according to the NWS in Rapid City.
After sundown, the 20% chance of storms is expected to persist as temperatures fall to a low of 56 degrees.
