GILLETTE, Wyo.— Though rain is once again in the forecast for the Gillette area, residents will be able to enjoy mostly clear skies before the rain is expected to return later in the day.
Throughout the day, Gillette will see mostly sunny skies and temperatures that reach a high of 71 degrees, the National Weather Service in Rapid City, South Dakota, reports. Light winds are expected to top out at 5–8 mph.
At night, however, is a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms that could continue into the early morning hours Monday. Temperatures will drop to a low of approximately 52 degrees, according to the NWS in Rapid City.
