Wyoming School of Energy Resources will have webinar tomorrow on Ukraine, energy

Three officials will lead a webinar from 10 to 11 a.m. June 20 on the current energy crisis in Ukraine.

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Three officials will lead a webinar from 10 to 11 a.m. June 20 on the current energy crisis in Ukraine. The officials are former member of parliament and legislator of Ukraine Serhii Averchenko, chief specialist and project manager at SYNERGY Amiran Purtseladze and senior vice president and design authority at TerraPower Eric Williams.

The University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources Hydrogen Energy Research Center energy expert and Ukraine native Eugene Holubnyak will moderate the presentations, the school announced. The webinar will cover energy challenges in times of crisis, the difference between a traditional light-water nuclear reactor and the Natrium nuclear reactors TerraPower is developing, and ways to build resilient energy infrastructure.
