GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Wyoming Highway Patrol will hold its 90th Anniversary celebration in Gillette next week at Cam-Plex Park.

On June 7, community members are invited to celebrate the dedication and service of the WHP over the past 90 years, the law enforcement agency says, adding that the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and promises a full day full of fun, food and history.

Lunch will be provided by the Wyoming Department of Transportation and the WHP. The event will include activities for children of all ages and historical displays for residents to explore the rich history of the WHP through various exhibits, per the event announcement.

The celebration will move to other locations throughout the state in the coming weeks, the WHP says.
