Campbell County Fire Dept. Report (6/1/23)

Campbell County firefighters responded to multiple emergency responses, a timber fire, and a two-vehicle collision that resulted in injuries.

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Thursday, June 1:

  • At 7:28 a.m. to Church Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 11:39 a.m. to Church Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 1:16 p.m. to Collins Road for a reported timber fire. The fire was contained to .25 acres and was determined to be caused by lightning. The fire department was assisted on scene by the Bureau of Land Management.
  • At 4:36 p.m. to the intersection of Highway 50 and Boxelder Road for a two-vehicle collision with injuries.
  • At 11:13 p.m. to 3575 N. Garner Lake Road for a report of a coal-hauling trailer on fire.

Year to date, the CCFD has responded to 1,148 requests for service.
