Campbell County Fire Dept. Report (5/27/23 – 5/28/23)

Campbell County firefighters' responses Sunday included rescuing ducklings from a storm drain.

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on May 27:

  • At 1:19 a.m. to Dogwood Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 6:34 a.m. to Gold Road for an emergency medical response.
  • At 9:41 a.m. to Green Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 10:29 a.m. to Rodgers Drive for an emergency medical response.
  • At 10:36 a.m. to Sierra Circle for a report of a hit gas line.
  • At 11:04 a.m. to West Echeta Road for a one-vehicle rollover.
  • At 3:35 p.m. to Rohan Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 4:26 p.m. to Iberlin Road for an emergency medical response.
  • At 5:53 p.m. to North Brooks Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 5:59 p.m. to 404 E. Laramie St. for unattended trash being burned.
  • At 9:08 p.m. to Beech Street for an emergency medical response.
  • At 10:06 p.m. to 102 E. Valley Drive for a report of a vehicle that struck a tree.

The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents May 28:

  • At 12:42 a.m. to 1299 Raymond St. for an activated fire alarm.
  • At 11:53 a.m. to Tyler Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 4:32 p.m. to Buffalo Cut Across Road for a report of a compressor station venting gas. It was determined the compressor was operating normally.
  • At 4:55 p.m. to Lincoln Street and Brooks Avenue to assist in removing seven ducklings from a storm drain. The mother was not around, and the ducklings were turned over to Wyoming Game and Fish.
  • At 6:40 p.m. to 5597 Hi-Line Road for a report of an explosion and a fire. Upon arrival, a control burn was located but was burning unauthorized materials.
  • At 7:34 p.m. to Angus Drive for an emergency medical response.

Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 1,127 requests for service.
