GILLETTE, Wyo. — A traveling carnival is cleared to return to Gillette in early June after having secured a permit from the Gillette City Council.

During its meeting on May 16, the council approved a carnival permit submitted by American Legion Post 42 Baseball for Northstar Amusements through Dreamland Carnival Company.

According to the permit, setup will take place on June 5 and June 6 at the Aquatic Center parking lot, 800 E. Warlow Drive, with the carnival in full swing from June 7 to June 11. It would be torn down on June 12.

At this year’s carnival, there will be 17 rides and 10 exhibitions as well as games and food, per the permit.

Admission will be $1 per ticket, $9 per 10 tickets, and $35 for an unlimited armband, the permit says.
