Rockpile Museum will have free day for Campbell County employees

Campbell County employees and their families will have free admission to the museum April 22.

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Rockpile Museum, which is at 900 W. Second St., Gillette, will hold a Campbell County employee day April 22.

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., county employees and family will have free admittance to the museum. There will be refreshments and drinks from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Activities will include the Bozeman Trail game, Maggie the milking cow and the hands-on sheepherder’s wagon.

Museum Director Robert Henning said at tonight’s meeting with Campbell County commissioners that the museum worked with the county’s Employee Recognition Committee to make the event happen. He said the museum hopes to make it an annual event.

The museum’s seeking volunteers for its March 28 to 30 World War II Days program for students. For more information, call the museum at 307-682-5723.
