GILLETTE, Wyo. — CAM-PLEX will present Master Plan information to the public in a workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. March 30 in the Heritage Center Art Gallery at CAM-PLEX, 1635 Reata Drive, Gillette.
Attendees can enter through the CAM-PLEX administrative office doors or the theater doors starting at 5:30 p.m., Campbell County Public Land Board Executive Director Aaron Lyles said. He said CAM-PLEX will have a recording, and that he’ll know March 24 whether they’ll be able to livecast the event.
Lyles said he wants the community to take advantage of the chance to provide Populous, the consultant, input on the future of the facility. Populous is examining the facility, its current and historical operations, and how to make the area around it a more appealing destination.
CAM-PLEX has provided the preliminary results from a survey that more than 400 Campbell County community members have taken. Master planners have begun to prepare for the community meeting based on the survey results that have already come in, Lyles said March 21.
Due to some technical difficulties, this is only part of the survey results, he said.
“There were more questions, but it will take more time to get the data working through JOTFORM,” Lyles said. “It wasn’t showing up correctly.”
The survey’s still open and CAM-PLEX staff will continue to evaluate and learn from the responses, Lyles said.
