Lindsey Stirling, Walk off the Earth coming to Casper in August

Violinist dancer Lindsey Stirling will bring her unique style to Ford Wyoming Center in August in a show that includes Canadian indie pop band Walk off the Earth.

CASPER, Wyo. — Violinist dancer Lindsey Stirling will bring her unique style to the Ford Wyoming Center in August in a show that includes Canadian indie pop band Walk off the Earth.

Stirling is known for choreographed violin performances. She rose to fame on YouTube after creating her channel in 2007. Her video “Crystallize” was the eighth most watched video of 2012, and her cover of “Radioactive” with Pentatonix won Response of the Year in the YouTube Music Awards in 2013. Her YouTube channel now has 13.6 million subscribers.

Walk off the Earth is also well known on YouTube for its pop-genre music. The band formed in 2006 and struck it big with the YouTube audience in 2012 when its cover of Gotye’s “Somebody I Used to Know” got 175 million views in four months.
