Snow possible in coming days for Gillette

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Though the official last day of winter is Monday, winter weather isn’t going away so easily. According to the National Weather Service, snowfall is possible in the Gillette area throughout the coming days.

The first potential for snowfall will come Monday night, beginning after 8 p.m. The NWS predicts a 30% chance of snowfall to climb to 40% as the night progresses. Earlier in the day, Gillette residents can expect to see cloudy skies and a high temperature of 47 degrees.

There is a slight, 30% chance of snow on Tuesday, the NWS reports. Temperatures are expected to max out around 34 degrees, with a low of 21.

On Wednesday, snow becomes much more likely. A 40% chance of snow in the morning will grow into a 70% chance as the day progresses. Temperatures will climb up to 36 degrees on Wednesday, with a low of 21.
