Black Hills Corp. executive to make speech on Wyoming’s energy future

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Black Hills Corp. Vice President of Electric Utilities Marne Jones will discuss Wyoming’s energy future in a presentation from noon to 1 p.m. March 20 at the University of Wyoming, 1000 E. University Ave., Laramie.

Jones will make the free, public lunch presentation in the Energy Innovation Center’s Encana Auditorium as part of the School of Energy Resources Distinguished Speaker Series.

In addition to sharing insights on the changing energy landscape, Jones will talk about how she advanced through the company after she graduated in 1995 from UW with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Black Hills Corp., which is based in Rapid City, South Dakota, provides 1.3 million customers with natural gas and electricity utility services in Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming.
