GILLETTE, Wyo. — Four people were injured after four semi trucks collided with one another on Interstate 80 this morning.
The incident took place at 8 a.m. at mile marker 335 on I-80 westbound, according to a Facebook post by the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.
Laramie EMS transported three of the individuals to Ivinson Memorial Hospital, while the fourth individual had to be transported by Life Flight via helicopter, the post states.
At this time, the crash is under investigation by the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office, WHP, Laramie EMS, Albany Central Fire Department, Vedauwoo Fire Department and Laramie County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the crash.
Officials are reminding drivers to slow down, buckle up and move over for emergency vehicles.
Law enforcement are still trying to clean up the impacts of this crash and ask drivers to plan ahead if they are driving that direction.
