GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County School District students’ artwork is on display through March 31 at the AVA Community Art Center, 509 W. Second St., Gillette.

The center invited all district schools to participate, and art teachers selected the pieces that would be on display at the center, Executive Director Quinn Goldhammer said.

“AVA loves hosting this show every year to provide young artists with an opportunity to have their creativity featured to the public in a professional gallery space,” Goldhammer said.

This year, there are students from kindergarten through 12th grade from across the district, including Recluse Elementary, whose work is on display, she said. Mediums include acrylic, collage, ceramics and charcoal.

“We hope folks will take the time to stop in and see the show in person!” she said.

AVA will also hold a public artists’ reception from 6 to 8 p.m. March 9 to celebrate the artists.
